2. Provide Dimensions
Send through measurements, plans or photos so we can understand your project.
3. Select Timber & Finishes
Choose from our range of recycled Australian hardwoods and finish options.
4. Finalise Hardware & Details
We'll confirm glazing, handles, locks, hinges, seals and any special requirements.
5. Quote & Site Measure
We'll provide a quote and arrange a site measure if installation is required.
6. Manufacture
Your door is handcrafted in our Canberra workshop.
7. Installation
We can install your new door or supply it to your builder.
Matching Door Jambs
To achieve the best fit and performance, most new Thor's Hammer doors are supplied with a matching recycled timber jamb. This allows us to ensure correct clearances, weather sealing and pre-install hardware in our workshop before the door goes on-site.
When replacing an existing door, we will need to assess your existing jamb to see if it will take the weight of a hardwood door. A new jamb may be required to achieve the best result.

Professional Installation
With more than 30 years of experience installing recycled timber doors, our team can manage the installation process from start to finish. Alternatively, we can supply your door to your builder or tradesperson.
Maintaining Your Door
External doors will need to be recoated with Osmo oil approximately every 2-5 years to maintain their appearance and long-term durability. Maintenance requirements depends mainly on the aspect and weather protection of the door—how much sun and rain will the door be exposed to.
