OBLONG TABLE
Recycled Timber Oblong Dining Table | Made in Canberra by Thor’s Hammer
The Oblong table is a compact, elegant dining table, handcrafted at our Thor’s Hammer Canberra workshop using sustainably sourced recycled timber. Designed to comfortably seat 8 people in the standard size, and 10 people in the larger size, this versatile table is ideal for smaller dining rooms, apartments, or open-plan living spaces where thoughtful design and durability are key.
Recycled timber Oblong table design
Featuring a gently bevelled tabletop edge and a rounded oblong shape, this recycled timber dining table brings warmth and simplicity to any interior. The round, splayed legs not only enhance stability but also create generous legroom for guests, while the streamlined base ensures clean lines without bulky support rails.
Built with a custom screw-leg system and recessed bisalloy plates, the Oblong Table is designed for easy transport and flat-packing. The legs can be unscrewed in minutes, making it a practical option for relocations or compact storage.
Available in two standard sizes, the Oblong Table can also be custom made to your preferred dimensions. Choose from a variety of beautiful recycled timber species and finishes to match your home’s style and colour palette. Every table is built to order, combining craftsmanship, sustainability, and practical design.
