Our approach begins with your needs. Tell us about your collection—how many records do you need to house, and how do you like to browse or display them? We'll work together to ensure your shelving is the right fit, whether you prefer flip bins or vertical shelving storage options. For inspiration, we can look together at some of our previous custom designs, and you can bring us a mood board of images from the web or pinterest.

Are you looking to include a hi-fi, turntable, or speakers? We’ll mindfully position electronics so they remain safe, accessible, and powered, while integrated cable management keeps cords neat but within easy reach. Thoughtful accessory storage—for cleaning kits, remotes, or display stands—can be built into your cabinet, ensuring every detail is considered for both comfort and lasting enjoyment.

Once you’re satisfied with the plan we will move forward—guaranteeing that your new record cabinet is as functional, beautiful, and personal as you hoped.

Material Options

Select from striking Australian hardwoods, such as recycled Spotted Gum or Blackbutt, each piece with its unique character, strength and grain. Or, if you prefer a different look or finish, we have a range of other recycled timber species and finishes you can use to create your perfect record cabinet. Every cabinet is built by hand in our workshop, with meticulous attention to joinery, tactile surfaces, and details that both protect and celebrate your collection.
