PRACTICAL ROOM DIVIDER and READING NOOK
Ian and Jenny visited us whilst renovating their 1930's home in South Canberra and incorporated recycled timber from Thor's hammer throughout their home.
Working with rich and dark red timber, we worked together with Mariana from Projects by M and Jo from Marble & Muse Interiors to design and build a very special room divider and reading nook.
The sturdy, practical and beautiful collaboration was designed to very precise specifications and fits beautifully in Ian and Jenny’s home.
Pictured above is Joel doing the final cut back and oil on the room divider. He sanded to a fine 1500 grit to give a smooth polish and then finished the piece in Osmo Polyx Satin.
This project was designed and created by our makers, Chris, Joel and Danilo.
