Our Canberra Local Ash comes almost exclusively from house demolitions throughout Canberra and the surrounding region. These timbers have supported homes for generations before being carefully salvaged, de-nailed and re-milled in our workshop. Their lighter colour, subtle grain and local provenance make them an ideal choice for projects wanting to celebrate Canberra's built history while keeping valuable materials in circulation.
