Blackbutt and the other Dense Brown species have long been used in houses, factories and commercial buildings thanks to their strength, durability and warm honey to golden-brown tones. After decades in service, these timbers are exceptionally stable and machine beautifully into flooring, cladding, benchtops and furniture. Their consistent colour and reliable performance have made them one of the most popular recycled timbers we salvage from demolition projects across eastern Australia.
