These big twin triangular decks with a stone surround are built out into Lake Burley Griffin on the axis aligned with Old Parliament House. They were built to take vehicle traffic out of extra thick 190x70mm boards. We also built the seating from 300x300mm bridge timbers.
Re-milled Spotted Gum Decking
40mm Thick Decking
This deck was supplied for local architect Paul Barnett in 135x40mm Red Ironbark.
Rustic Face Harwood Decking
Our re-milled decking can be dressed more lightly on the top face to give a more rustic appearance.
28mm Thick Decking
We machine decking from old house rafters. Normally we split the rafters in half to make an 85x18mm thick decking, but sometimes we process thinner rafters into a single 85x28mm board. Thicker decking looks great and stands up to the weather better, but does cost more.
Re-milled Blackbutt Mix Decking
We machine decking from old house rafters. We sell the durable species together by colour. The Blackbutt mix also includes some Tallowwood, Silvertop and Spotted Gum.
