The Hammer team have been busy sorting the yard in preparation for the move. Posts and beams from different demolitions we’ve received over the years have been sorted into neat piles and graded. It’s beautifully organised and we’re really excited about it!
Sometimes we get inundated with stock when large demolitions arrive at the gates and the piles get a bit out of control. So it’s been great to sort things and get some order out there.
We’ve graded all the stock into A Grade, B Grade and Landscape so it’s going to be nice and easy to source exactly what you need for your project. The B Grade stock has been marked down to 30% off and the Landscape grade is down to 80% off so it's a good opportunity to get some big timbers at good prices. Whether it’s a pergola or entrance feature, a landscape project or an internal beam, we’ve most likely got what you need.
There’s big old bridge timbers, gnarly and notched with silvery grey faces. Mostly around 300 x 300mm in size and mostly Ironbark. There’s good stocks of the re-sawn bridge girders and telegraph poles that we source regularly - a variety of lengths of both the 150 x 150mm or 200 x 200mm. We’ve still got some great material from the Petrie Paper Mill and the Alexandria Q-Stores demolition – mostly 125 x 125mm or 200 x 200mm posts in Landscape grade that have excellent character if you’re looking for something quirky.
One of our friendly sales team members will be here to help price up whatever you need for your project, so don’t hesitate to drop in any time or give us a call.
